KANSAS CITY - A 14-year-old girl is dead and a 16-year-old driver suffered serious injuries after a crash on I-135 near Kellogg, around 6:30 Saturday night.
The vehicle was traveling north on I-135 and left the roadway and struck a bridge pillar.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim as Belayna Amaya, who was a passenger in the vehicle.
The KHP added the teens were not wearing seatbelts.
