In a pivotal AFC East showdown, the New York Jets take on the Buffalo Bills, featuring standout player prop opportunities. From Breece Hall's receiving prowess against the Bills' vulnerabilities to Garrett Wilson's target share, we delve into compelling bets for this matchup. Additionally, Josh Allen's mobility adds another layer of intrigue with his rushing yardage prop. Check out our top player prop picks and insights for Jets vs. Bills, where strategic betting meets NFL action.
Jets RB Breece Hall Over 3.5 Receptions (-127, BetRivers) & Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-110, BetMGM)
The Bills have allowed 7.2 catches on 8.4 targets for 62.4 receiving yards to opposing running backs, all of which are the most in the NFL to the position group. The dynamic running back has attracted five or more targets in four of his five starts this season and has gotten over this receptions mark three times and over the yardage mark twice, but this is the definition of a smash spot as a receiving back. With OC Nathaniel Hackett no longer calling offensive plays, perhaps we will see some more variation and exotic looks from New York’s offense this week, but nonetheless, I love Hall’s outlook.
Jets WR Garrett Wilson Over 5.5 Receptions (-111, Caesars)
Last time out, Wilson caught 13 passes on a ridiculous 23 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings and the other wideouts combined for six catches for 59 yards on 13 targets. Assuming that Aaron Rodgers is going to have to make some things happen through the air, Wilson will be his go-to option in the passing game once again. There’s no way I’m fading a guy to catch six or more passes after he just saw 23 targets regardless of the matchup and I also think he should benefit from Hackett’s demotion.

Bills QB Josh Allen Over 33.5 Rushing Yards (-110, BetMGM)
Due to game scripts, Allen hasn’t needed to make a huge impact as a runner this season, but has still gotten over this number three times in his five starts and has managed 6.2 yards per carry. While we should expect a change offensively for the Jets, their DC just became interim HC, so I don’t think we should expect any drastic changes on that side of the football. New York has pressured opponents at the 6th-highest rate this season and Allen’s 140 scramble yards rank 4th in the NFL. If he’s under pressure tonight, he should be expected to make plays with his legs.
