I guess we know how some of the money in Dallas Keuchel's three-year, $55 million contract was spent.
On Tuesday night, MLB Network host Kelly Nash shared posts on Twitter and Instagram showing a big, glittering ring and several pictures of her new fiancé.
The general feeling on social media — despite some definite jealousy and shock from lifelong fans of both of them that weren't aware of the relationship — was one of happiness and excitement for Nash and Keuchel. A number of prominent figures in the MLB community, including Carlos Rodon, Cliff Floyd, Rachel Luba and Ryan Dempster shared their best wishes through comments or quote tweets.
Along with her hosting role at MLB Network, Nash is a host on NHL Network and hosts the "Baseball & Chill" podcast.
Keuchel made his MLB debut for the 2012 Astros, winning the AL Cy Young Award in 2015. In 2019, he signed with the Braves as a free agent to moderate success before joining the White Sox prior to the 2020 season. In the shortened 2020 campaign, Keuchel was magnificent, going 6-2 with a 1.99 ERA in 11 outings.
