Did Noah Syndergaard take a dig at the Mets after his new teammate Reid Detmers finished off a no-hitter on Tuesday night?

After the game, a 12-0 win for the Angels, Syndergaard posted a photo of the final score on his Instagram, and captured it, “This is what a ‘real’ no-hitter looks like,” a seemingly obvious troll towards his former team, which teamed up for a combined no-hitter last month.

The Mets used five pitchers to no-hit the Phillies that night, while Syndergaard’s teammate Detmers, in just his 11th career start, went the distance to make history against the Rays.

Perhaps some saltiness from Syndergaard towards his former team, from which he rejected the qualifying offer before signing with the Angels for $3 million more, following reported “radio silence” from New York while the Angels were courting the righty?
