ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Just as the 15-minute pregame press conference with Nolan Arenado was wrapping up on Friday, the St. Louis Cardinals superstar asked for a moment to get something personal off his chest.
A day after Albert Pujols was released by the LA Angels, Arenado gave him a shout out:
"Can I say one more thing?" Arenado asked. "Albert Pujols, I love you man. You're one of the greatest to ever play this game and I hope you get to go out the right way. I'm a huge fan and I hope you get to hear this one day because you're my favorite player. Thank you."
