The Chicago Bulls improved to 8-3 with a 117-107 win on Wednesday night, which was punctuated by a sequence of events late in the fourth quarter that looked straight out of a 1980s highlight clip of the Showtime Lakers.
With the Mavericks driving toward the basketball, Alex Caruso intercepted a pass and fell to the ground while doing so.
He tossed the ball to Nikola Vucevic, who gave it to Lonzo Ball. Ball then fired a bullet across halfcourt to Zach LaVine, who completed the play with a 360 dunk.
The Bulls social media account had some fun with it while others on Twitter quickly took notice.
