Boban Marjanovic doesn't need to do anything else to earn our love and respect. He's already known as one of the happiest, friendliest and most good-natured players that the NBA has to offer, and he shows us this both with his hard work on the court and his hilarious moments off of it.

And yet he continues to find new ways to make us bigger and bigger Boban fans, to make us want to just be his friend and hang out with him. This time? The basketball giant showed off his farming abilities in an Instagram post, one that featured a video of him doing some honest work to keep him fit and to help out others. The video is on the second slide of the post embedded below.

The Mavericks' Twitter account commented that "Farmer Bobi is the Bobi we didn't know we needed," and though it is enjoyable to watch him haul large bags of... whatever around, I'd much prefer to watch him on the hardwood.

Unfortunately, he is no longer in the running for Olympic competition, seeing as Serbia was eliminated by Italy to allow the Italians to return to the Olympics for the first time since 2004. Though we wouldn't be surprised to find out that Marjanovic was upset about their elimination, he wasn't quite as vocal about it as teammate and fellow NBA player Nemanja Bjelica.

"If I don’t say this is a big shame the way we have lost the game, I will lie to you. I wasn’t ready to play today," Bjelica said (as transcribed by Eurohoops). "What is the reason? I don’t think that’s important. We played like sh--. With this attitude, we cannot play basketball. Playing for the national team is different. If you’re not here 100% you can’t win. I can apologize to our people, to our fans that came tonight, but what can we do with that? Our attitude has to change."

Perhaps putting in that hard work on the farm now will get Marjanovic into the best shape possible for more international competition, as well as for his return to NBA action. The 32-year-old is an impending free agent after finishing out his contract with the Dallas Mavericks in 2020-21.
