The ABC broadcast booth will be getting back one of its mainstays for Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but its regular play-by-play voice will still have to wait.

Jeff Van Gundy will return to the booth after missing Game 1 due to COVID-19 while play-by-play announcer Mike Breen will not return until Game 3 in Boston, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

It is unconfirmed if either Breen or Van Gundy actually tested positive for the virus or are just experiencing symptoms. Van Gundy appeared to be noticeably under the weather during Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, which Breen also missed.

Mark Jones has been filling in for Breen and will continue to do so on Sunday night alongside Van Gundy and fellow color analyst Mark Jackson.

The full three-man crew ought to be back together Wednesday in Boston. Marchand added he has "been told Breen is fine."
