As great a basketball player as Michael Jordan was, he might be an even better businessman, dabbling in everything from restaurant chains to sports apparel. The hoops legend-turned-investment-mogul added to his business portfolio last year by purchasing a controlling stake in what is now known as 23XI Racing, competing as one of the top teams in NASCAR. Jordan recently sat down to talk auto-racing with Craig Melvin (husband of former SportsCenter anchor and current CBS Sports reporter Lindsay Czarniak) in an interview that aired Sunday on NBC.

If you’ve ever wondered what the greatest basketball player of all-time’s Zoom background looks like, Sunday provided some much-needed clarity on that front. Between his six NBA titles, 10 scoring crowns and 14 All-Star nods, Jordan is as decorated as any athlete we’ve ever known, and, judging by the contents of his well-stocked trophy case, he kept the receipts.
It must have been hard to concentrate with all that hardware on display, so credit Melvin for maintaining his composure instead of getting lost in the glistening reflection of one of Jordan’s five MVP awards. A ferocious competitor with a petty streak that knows no bounds, anyone who tuned into The Last Dance knows Jordan has never been shy about tooting his own horn, rarely missing an opportunity to remind others of his vast greatness. The breadth of Jordan's accomplishments can be intimidating, even from the vantage point of his living room couch.
Bubba Wallace, who drives the No. 23 car for 23XI Racing, won the YellaWood 500 at Talladega last week, becoming the first African-American to take the checkered flag in over 50 years.
