No longer an employee at ESPN, Hall of Famer Paul Pierce appears to be looking for his next media gig.
A 10-time All-Star, Pierce teased the idea of doing a podcast with former teammate Kevin Garnett in a recent tweet:
One would think that Pierce didn't fire off this tweet without having had some sort of discussion with Garnett, but who knows.
Pierce and Garnett, of course, were teammates on the 2007-08 Boston Celtics team that defeated Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers in a six-game NBA Finals. The two were teammates for six seasons with the Celtics, and then one season with the Brooklyn Nets, where they were traded ahead of the 2013-14 season.
While we're sure that the two have great stories to tell about Doc Rivers, Rajon Rondo and Jason Kidd, among others, the idea of them doing a podcast together sounds intriguing if for nothing more than the chance that they discuss their current relationship with former teammate Ray Allen.
