(670 The Score) The Bulls are acquiring two draft picks and forward Derrick Jones Jr. in a three-way sign-and-trade deal with the Cavaliers and Trail Blazers centered on forward Lauri Markkanen, ESPN reported.
The Bulls will obtain the Trail Blazers' lottery projected future first-round pick and the Cavaliers' future second-round pick in the deal. Markkanen will be acquired by Cleveland and sign a four-year, $67-million deal with the team. Portland lands guard Larry Nance Jr. in the deal.
The No. 7 overall pick to the Bulls in 2017, Markkanen averaged 15.6 points over 226 career games in Chicago. A restricted free agent this offseason, the Bulls had been shopping Markkanen for potential trades after revamping their roster with guard Lonzo Ball and forward DeMar DeRozan.
Jones, 24, averaged 6.8 points in 58 games and 43 starts last season with the Trail Blazers.
The Bulls have not yet made the deal official.
