After the New York Jets selected Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Gardner mistakenly walked the wrong way, before having to run to make it to the stage on time:
Gardner was a star for the University of Cincinnati, and was the AAC Defensive Player of the Year and a Consensus All-American in 2021. While the Houston Texans selected Derek Stingley Jr. with the No. 3 overall pick, most outlets had Gardner ranked as the top cornerback in this year's class.
