Cam Jordan didn't waste any time trash-talking new Atlanta Falcon Kyle Pitts

Falcons fans had to have been excited when Kyle Pitts' name was called on Thursday night to lead Atlanta's 2021 draft class. After all, he's been labeled as unstoppable, freakishly athletic and even a potential Hall of Fame-type player before he's even stepped foot on an NFL field. Alternatively, NFC South division rivals couldn't have been all too pleased to hear that they'd be facing off against a talent like Pitts at least two times a year.

That is, unless said division rival was New Orleans Saints star Cam Jordan. The elite defensive force has terrorized the Falcons for years, and so a new challenge is something that had him not worried, but salivating. He joined Adam Lefkoe to talk about his reaction when he heard who the Falcons had selected, and didn't exactly ease up on the trash-talk, unless threatening to detach someone from his body is a level of trash-talk that can be exceeded.

Of course, Jordan probably won't interact with Pitts all that often if the former Florida product is used more like a receiver than a typical tight end. Heck, Pitts may even help Matt Ryan to avoid some of those all-too-frequent Cam Jordan sacks if he can help to wreak havoc in the passing attack, and with Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley at his side, we think that's pretty likely.

What was even quicker than Jordan's trash talk was Matty Ice's display of excitement after the pick was announced.

Ryan has never been able to produce a 1,000-yard tight end, though he came close with Tony Gonzalez on a number of occasions and helped Austin Hooper to a tremendous 2019 campaign, but we wouldn't be surprised if Pitts got there in a hurry.

We'll see just how much trash Jordan is talking once Pitts establishes himself down in Who Dat Nation.
