NBA insider Shams Charania seemed to break some NFL news this week, so why not an actual NFL player?
Wide receiver is reportedly in New York for what has become a two-day visit with the Giants, which is reported to include a physical and a meeting with GM Dave Gettleman and head coach Joe Judge.
Well, Darius Slay, current Eagles cornerback and former Lions teammate of Golladay, says that he thinks a done deal:
The clip came from the March 18 episode of "The Pat McAfee Show," where he says he knows "for sure" that he'll be covering him, and that he knows his skill set for if/when that time comes.
Slay was a Lion from 2013-19 before being dealt to Philly last season, so he was a teammate of Golladay’s from 2017-19. The Lions and Eagles did not play last year, so Slay has never covered Golladay in game action – but if he’s right, Slay will have to go up against “a dog” twice a year now.
