CLEVELAND, Ohio – Jarvis Landry’s days in Cleveland may be numbered but the five-time Pro Bowl receiver has put the ball in the Browns’ court.

In a series of Tweets Tuesday morning, Landry sounded off on the injuries that limited him this past season, why he did not speak with reporters for the final two months and his future.

Landry is entering the final year of a five-year, $75 million contract extension he signed with the Browns after being acquired from Miami in 2018. He is owed $14.3 million in 2022 but with a cap hit of over $16.3 million, Landry’s contract will need to be restructured or else he’ll likely be released.

If the Browns release Landry, they would save over $14.8 million in cap room.

Landry missed five games due to the knee injury suffered on the second play against Houston in Week 2.

Despite the injury, Landry still led the Browns in receptions for a fourth consecutive year with 52 and his 570 receiving yards trailed only Donovan Peoples-Jones.
