Matt Ryan's long, decorated run with the Atlanta Falcons came to an end on Monday, when he was dealt to the Indianapolis Colts.
And, for Ryan's wife, Sarah, it appears she is ready to let bygones be bygones after she seemed less than thrilled when her husband was in limbo amid the Falcons' ill-fated pursuit of Deshaun Watson.
Last week, Sarah Ryan favorited a tweet critical of the Falcons, in which a prominent fan mused that the "Falcons don't deserve" Matty Ice.
But on Monday, after the news of Ryan's trade to Indianapolis, Sarah seemed far more cordial, saying she was "forever grateful for this team" after the Falcons posted a farewell tribute to their longtime signal-caller.
Obviously, the circumstances of Ryan's exit from Atlanta changed over the weekend, with reports indicating he was very much looped into discussions about where he would end up.
That scenario was likely much more palatable to Ryan and his camp than being pushed aside to make room for Watson and his considerable baggage.
And of course, family and friends aren't exactly known to be partial when it comes to franchises parting ways with team legends, so we won't hold it against Sarah Ryan for changing her tune.
For the Ryans, after some apparent hard feelings only a week ago, it seems all has ended well with Matt's arrival in Indianapolis.
