A year after three quarterbacks were selected in the top three picks, one Insider doesn't believe a single quarterback will be picked in the top 10 picks of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Appearing on Tuesday's edition of PFT Live, Peter King said that he believes it's likely that the top 10 picks will pass in this year's NFL Draft without a quarterback coming off the board:

"...and this year, I doubt there's going to be a quarterback picked in the top 10. Unless somebody falls in love with Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis, it looks like that's not going to be a position of great need."

While we projected in our latest Audacy Sports Mock Draft that the Carolina Panthers will select University of Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett with the No. 6 overall pick, it does appear at least possible that King's prediction comes true.

If the Panthers acquire a veteran quarterback via trade or free agency -- and they still have Sam Darnold on the roster -- they are unlikely to use their first-round pick on the position as well. And while the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos are among the other teams picking in the top 10 that could target a quarterback, it appears possible (if not likely) that all five either stick with their incumbent starter or acquire a veteran via trade or free agency.

Should the seal on quarterbacks not be broken in the first 10 picks of the NFL Draft, multiple teams with a need at the position who pick between 11 and 20 could stand to benefit.

We recently predicted that the Washington Commanders will use the No. 11 overall pick on Liberty quarterback Malik Willis. If no quarterback is taken in the top 10 picks, the Commanders -- seemingly unlikely to acquire a star veteran quarterback as long as Daniel Snyder's presence looms over the organization -- could have their choice of Willis or Pickett.

The Minnesota Vikings (pick No. 12), New Orleans Saints (pick No. 18) and Pittsburgh Steelers (pick No. 20) could all be in the quarterback market as well.
