Think about this concept: the more beers that get sold (and subsequently chugged), the more money is raised for a great cause. How awesome is that?!
That's what will be going down on Wednesday night at Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City, NJ from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., where Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce will be bartending and raising money for the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Kelce stopped by 94WIP with Jon Marks and Ike Reese on Tuesday to discuss the event, and he divulged a little secret about a certain former teammate of his who was quite the prolific beer chugger. Well, not as prolific as Kelce, but still pretty good.
"We're gonna get after it. I can hold it down... me and Nick Foles competed a long time ago, he can chug a beer too," Kelce said, much to Ike's surprise. "I'm telling you — you wouldn't expect it because it's not like he's this big party animal — that dude can chug a beer now. He's better than almost everybody on the team. I got lucky when I beat him, and I still hold that over his head."
And just when I thought Nick Foles couldn't have possibly done anything else during his unforgettable stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, we get this little nugget of information. However, he's got some stiff competition around the NFL quarterback community.
We'll give the 22-year-old Jalen Hurts a little bit more time as a legal adult before we put him on the spot to test his beer-chugging abilities.
