The Jets were facing a quarterback dilemma heading into Sunday’s game against the Dolphins, but the team is reportedly going with a surprise pick to be under center in Week 11.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, Gang Green will start veteran Joe Flacco against Miami, with Wilson still not 100 percent recovered from his PCL sprain, which has kept him out the last three games.

Flacco was the backup during Sunday’s loss to the Bills, where fans were chanting for him to be brought into the game while Mike White was throwing four interceptions. White, who stormed onto the scene with a 405-yard performance against the Bengals in his first career start. But White has gone from a New York sensation to Flacco’s backup in a matter of weeks.
Flacco, an 11-year veteran, made four starts for New York last season, all losses, and made one brief appearance this season, completing all three of his passes for 47 yards and a touchdown during Sunday’s blowout loss. New York acquired Flacco from the Eagles in a trade back in October in an effort to have a veteran presence alongside Wilson.
