Diggs was black and silver cleats — the color of the Raiders, whom Madden coached for 10 years — with a silhouette of Madden’s face on them prior to the Buffalo Bills game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Jackson — who plays for the Raiders  — was wearing similar cleats while Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wore a hoodie with Madden on the back.

Madden passed away earlier in the week at the age of 85.

The Hall of Fame head coach and longtime announcer is one of the legendary figures in the game and is the namesake of the popular Madden football video game.

The NFL planned to honor the late Madden with a moment of silence prior to all 17 games on Sunday while the Raiders had decals with his initials on their helmets.

Madden’s legacy was also a focal point of many of the pregame shows on Sunday as well.
