Trevon Diggs was the king of interceptions in the NFL this past season and with the news of Carson Wentz's trade to division rival Washington Commanders, the ball-hawking cornerback posted a simple emoji on Twitter to show how excited he is.

The Washington Commanders shocked the NFL world Wednesday morning, acquiring Wentz from the Indianapolis Colts via a trade. Some fans across Twitter, especially Commander fans, reacted negatively to the news of their new quarterback.
For Diggs, he made it known to everyone that he is chomping at the bit to face Washington come next season.
Diggs is surely not the only defensive star excited by the news. Micah Parsons, who became a stud linebacker for Big D in only his first year in the league should have no problem sacking Wentz on Sundays.
As for Washington, many thought they would land Russell Wilson, especially considering his deep family ties in the DMV area. Instead, Wilson opted for the cold of Denver rather than play for the franchise.
Hopefully, Ron Riveria can find a way to revitalize Wentz's career and get him to play at 2017-2018 levels. Considering the way he's played as of late, it seems to be wishful thinking.
