Looking for the best player prop bets for the Week 5 Monday Night Football matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs? We've got you covered! From Alvin Kamara's receiving yard total to Saints tight ends being in a great spot, these top picks offer excellent betting value. Check out our in-depth breakdown of the top player prop bets to consider before placing your wagers on this highly anticipated Monday night showdown.
Saints RB Alvin Kamara Over 31.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Kamara has recorded 65, 40 and 42 receiving yards over his last three games, including seven catches on nine targets last week, both season-highs. Over the last two weeks (both close games), he’s played a true bellcow role within this offense throughout the entire contest, recording 86% and 82% of the snaps, respectively. In what should be another close affair, I expect New Orleans to be playing from behind on the road, which is exactly the game script we want when betting this prop.
Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt Over 58.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-120)
In his first game for the Chiefs last week, Hunt led running backs in snap percentage (45%), beating out Samaje Perine (40%) and Carson Steele (18%). That will be the same threesome in the backfield this week and after fumbling in back-to-back weeks, I expect Steele to lose out on playing time, thrusting Hunt into a more prominent role. Hunt took 14 carries for 69 rushing yards and two catches for 16 receiving yards in last week’s win at the Chargers and I expect him to find success against a Saints defense that’s allowed 83.75 rushing yards and 34.5 receiving yards per game to opposing running backs.

Saints TE’s Juwan Johnson Over 16.5 Receiving Yards (-110) & Foster Moreau Over 11.5 Receiving Yards (-120)
No team in the NFL has allowed more receiving yards to opposing tight ends than the Chiefs (91.25), which vaults Johnson and Moreau into fantastic spots. Johnson played 68% of the snaps last week while Moreau played 57% and while Johnson and Moreau both only got over these numbers once this season (both in Week 1), this is the most exploitable position to buy low on against this KC defense. Chris Olave, Rasheed Shaheed and Alvin Kamara will get tons of attention, which should allow both guys to get the spacing they need.
Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy Over 41.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
With Rashee Rice out, the major question is: which Chiefs receiver will see a majoe production boost? I think the answer is clearly going to be Worthy, who played a season-high 73% of snaps last week after Rice got injured. He’s emerged as Patrick Mahomes’ big play threat and is coming off a three-catch, 73-yard performance with a score last week, including a 54-yard reception. With breathtaking speed, he’s a threat to take one to the house every time he touches the ball. The Saints have allowed opposing wideouts to rack up the 8th-most yards per game in the NFL (163.5), so this is seemingly an above-average breakout spot.
