The Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl, so you better believe You Know Who will be in attendance.
That, of course, is Taylor Swift and last year the big question was whether or not she would make it to the game from Japan in time to see Travis Kelce win the Super Bowl. But this year the question is whether or not Taylor and Travis will get engaged at the game.
Or at least, there are odds out for this.
FanDuel Sportsbook (Ontario) is offering odds on if this could occur should the Chiefs win the game.
No is at -1500, while Yes is at +750.
And I would set these odds at No -15000000 and Yes +100000000.
And here’s why: I think they’re already engaged.
Rumors have been swirling for a while now that Kelce has already popped the question and those rumors have ramped up recently based on Swift’s fashion choices at Chiefs games and even BlurGate involving photos of her hand at the Eras Tour wrap party.
Taylor has been wearing gloves at the last couple Kansas City games, leading to speculation that she could be hiding a ring. But she was not wearing gloves or a ring when she walked into the stadium, so maybe this isn’t the best evidence.
And there were the photos taken at her Eras Tour wrap party that some fans thought were altered to blur out an engagement ring on her finger. This one also might be a stretch. But who knows. Though, the more I look at the photos, the more I start to believe it.
BUT the biggest clue is THIS, I feel like, from one of her shows back in August when she said she’s in a “fantastic mood” and then motioned to her finger. What else could this mean????
So, I don’t think they’ll be getting engaged at the Super Bowl because I think Travis has already proposed. Whether or not they announce it at the Big Game is another thing, though. I could see them revealing it that night if the Chiefs win and Taylor wears her ring on the field when she congratulates Travis.
But when it comes to the engagement itself happening that night? I wouldn’t bet on it.
