Joe O & Sammy P Reveal Chiefs-Eagles Betting Strategies

Breaking down key betting angles for Super Bowl LIX, including early game unders, Saquon Barkley props, and more expert insights.

The Big Game is less than two weeks away, and everyone and their brother has their take on how the game is going to go down. Some think the Chiefs are guaranteed to win because the game is rigged for them, while others are betting the Eagles simply out of spite. There are all kinds of markets open for this game as always, and you can bet on nearly everything that happens during the game, from the coin toss to the halftime show.

Joe Ostrowski and Sam Panayotovich gave their take on how they are going to bet this game, and some strategies they suggest when it comes time to put your money down.

“I snagged some first quarter under 9.5,” said Panayotovich. “The problem is when the total comes down, the 1st half comes down and the 1st quarter comes down. The 9.5 is now flat at 9. The best price that I see on the 1st quarter under is at BetMGM, 9.5 at even money, so that will be something to pay attention to.”

Ostrowski agreed and explained why that could be valuable in this matchup.

“Eagles slow starts. That is one thing about their great regular season that you could point to and say this is where they struggled. There wasn’t much, maybe you are being picky, but they did have slow starts throughout the entire season. With big games we see it a lot, the feeling out period, and we have some great defensive coordinators too. You’ll hear people talk about the scripted plays and such, but I do agree with that, the under is a good look early.”

They also got to talking about Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who has been spectacular this season, and will be one of the most wagered on players in the game.

“Saquon Barkley rushing yards are anywhere from 112.5 to 116.5. In terms of how many times he will run the ball, it’s 20.5 to 22.5. I’ve been very vocal on social media, I don’t think he is touching it enough,” said Panayotovich. “He didn’t touch it enough against the Rams or Commanders, and people were saying that they were blowing them out. Stop, they were not blowing them out at the end of the 3rd quarter. It was still an 11-point game and it was far from over, and he only had 10 touches. He hasn’t been touching the ball as much as I would like as an Eagles future bettor.”

“Kenneth Gainwell was getting touches in the first half, so don’t tell me it was game script,” said Ostrowski. “I think he is beat up, man. They know it, and they know their best chance at winning a Super Bowl is that guy at 100%. Now he gets two weeks to rest up, but I certainly think it is part of it. I would be pro-Saquon in this scenario. The Chiefs have been great at stopping the run all year, but a lot of that is game script where the other team can’t keep running the ball. If you look at their last four games, they have given up over 100 rushing yards in each one.”
