NFL Week 5 offers some exciting matchups and opportunities for player prop bets. With star quarterbacks like Joe Burrow looking to capitalize on favorable matchups, and dynamic playmakers like Stefon Diggs facing their former teams, this week’s slate is packed with intriguing storylines. Whether you’re betting on Burrow’s passing yardage, Josh Jacobs' rushing performance, or Garrett Wilson’s receptions, we’ve got your top player prop picks for Week 5 covered.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow Over 252.5 Passing Yards vs. Ravens (-114, FanDuel)

Cincinnati may be off to a 1-3 start, but it hasn’t been Burrow’s fault. He’s posted a 105.9 quarterback rating with seven touchdowns and just one interception through four games and has gone over this yardage mark in two of his last three outings. Baltimore has allowed opposing quarterbacks to rack up 282.0 passing yards per game, 3rd-most in the NFL, so he’s in a great spot to rack up plenty of yardage in this one. Due to a general lack of a run game, he should air the ball out to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins quite a bit, especially if the Bengals are playing from behind.

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels Over 48.5 Rushing Yards vs. Browns (-113, BetRivers)

Daniels is off to an historic start and has completed an NFL record 81.5% of his passes through his first four games, but I like his rushing upside in this matchup against Cleveland. He’s put up 88, 44, 39 and 47 carries on 16, 10, 12 and eight carries so far, but I expect Myles Garrett and Cleveland’s defensive front to put lots of pressure on him in this one. That should cause him to scramble and create with his legs more than usual and he already has the proven ability to rip off quality chunk plays on the ground.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs Over 61.5 Rushing Yards vs. Rams (-117, BetRivers)

The Rams have allowed an NFL-high 131.0 yards per game to opposing running backs, so this is just about the best possible spot for Jacobs to deliver. Jordan Love’s return makes Green Bay’s offense elite and I fully expect them to be playing with a lead for the majority of this contest. Jacobs took 16 carries for 84 yards against the Eagles in Week 1 and then 32 carries for 151 yards in Week 2 against the Colts, but has taken a bit of a backseat in back-to-back weeks, rushing for 43 and 51 yards on 14 and nine carries, respectively. While backup Emanuel Wilson will spell him for about 35-to-40 percent of the snaps to manage his workload, if Jacobs gets 15-to-18 carries in this one, he should easily go over this number.

49ers RB Jordan Mason Over 85.5 Rushing Yards vs. Cardinals (-113, BetRivers)

The Cardinals have surrendered 125.25 rushing yards per game to opposing running backs (3rd-highest) and San Francisco’s offense will be nearly back to full health with the exception of Christian McCaffrey. Mason has been a revelation filling in for McCaffrey, registering 147, 100, 77 and 123 rushing yards in his four starts while playing no less than 75% of the snaps in any game so far. The multidimensionality of Kyle Shanahan’s healthy offense should allow Mason to continue finding holes and running lanes and even though this number is quite high, I’m comfortable with it based on what I’ve seen from him and this offense so far.

Texans WR Stefon Diggs Over 51.5 Receiving Yards vs. Bills (-114, FanDuel)

Diggs is an emotional player. Now he gets to face the team that traded him away in the offseason. Yes, please. While teammate Nico Collins might be the best receiver in the NFL, Diggs should be quite active against his former squad, especially out of the slot and in the middle of the field. He’s racked up 10 receptions (12 targets) for 94 yards and then five receptions (nine targets) for 69 yards in back-to-back weeks leading into this one and clearly has CJ Stroud’s attention as one of his top targets. This is my favorite play of the entire week by a considerable margin.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson Over 4.5 Receptions vs. Vikings (-140, BetMGM)

All of the Davante Adams talk has likely affected Wilson, who has gone over this receptions mark in three of his four starts this season (with the lone exception of Week 2 when he caught four of six targets for 57 yards). While his yardage numbers have been abysmal, he’s still attracted 34 targets from Aaron Rodgers and gets a solid matchup against a Minnesota defense that has been dominant against the run and susceptible against the pass through four weeks. The Vikings have allowed 17.25 receptions (2nd-most) and 27.5 targets (2nd-most) for 221.5 yards (most) to opposing wideouts, so Wilson is in a fantastic matchup to produce in London. Based on what we’ve seen so far, though, targeting his receptions prop rather than his yardage prop is the right move.
