Gardner Minshew made sure to let the Jets know before the game started they were entering the danger zone.

The Eagles backup quarterback arrived at MetLife Stadium on Sunday sporting aviator sunglasses and an Eagles bomber jacket, which combined with his mustachioed look, made him look like he was ready to take flight with Goose and Mav in “Top Gun.”

The look garnered a lot of attention from fans on social media, many of whom were eagerly awaiting what Minshew could do with Jalen Hurts sidelined.

Minshew’s look was just the appetizer, though.

The backup quarterback lived up to his swagger with an unbelievable first half against the Jets.

Minshew led the Eagles to a 24-18 halftime lead and completed 14 of 15 pass attempts for 188 yards and two touchdowns.

A strong second half and perhaps calls will grow louder for more Minshew Mania in Philly.
