Audacy/BetQL is thrilled to welcome Erin Hawksworth to the team as a co-host of BetQL Daily.
“I am super excited to join the BetQL Network,” Erin said. “I believe this format is the future in sports and I am so excited to be a part of the new network launch. I started gambling several years ago. For me, when I have money on a game the entertainment value goes way up. It's so much fun, especially when your friends are in on it as well.”
While she is a fan of all sports, Erin especially loves the NFL and the NBA. And she has lived in so many different places, she doesn’t root for one team in particular.
Erin was born in Vancouver, BC and grew up in Seattle. She attended Arizona State University, where Terrell Suggs lived in the dorm above her.
She has worked in television on-air in Dallas, Boston, Seattle, Canada, and for CNN in Atlanta as an anchor for “World Sport.” She has spent the last five years living in Washington D.C., where she currently resides.
Erin has won two Regional Emmys as a Baltimore Ravens reporter and was the only woman to have a show on 106.7 The Fan in D.C.
“I am Canadian,” Erin said. “I worked for Sportsnet in Canada. My brother Blake Hawksworth played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers. His agent was Scott Boras. Both of my brothers are baseball coaches at the high school and collegiate level. My grandpa, Jack Poole, was the Chairman of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. Sports run deep in my blood!”
They sure do, as Erin was also a Junior Olympic swimmer.
Welcome to Audacy/BetQL, Erin!
