The best play Andy Reid's ever seen was given to him by a janitor in Green Bay

Can I interest you in basically the plot of Good Will Hunting, but football? Because that's exactly what happened to Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid back when he was an assistant with the Packers. Talking to 610's Fescoe In The Morning on Thursday, Reid told a great story about the best play he's ever seen drawn up, and how it came from, quite literally, a janitor.

"I had a janitor in Green Bay give me a play," he said. "And he was buggin' on me every week. He'd come in every week and tell me, 'I've got this play, I've got this play,' so I told him to draw it on a card. So I gave him a big card, one that we used to show the scout team players what to run for that week. So he drew the play up and the concept was actually pretty good, so we ended up putting it in ... and we dial this play up, and this stinkin' play scores a touchdown.

"That was probably the most fun I've had with a play, was watching that whole thing. And then trying to explain to Coach Holmgren that this play came from the janitor."

Reid then confirmed that the play was not, in fact, wasp. But hey, a pretty good story nonetheless. You can listen to Reid's entire interview from Thursday morning in the player below:
