Draymond Green expected an earful from the crowd at TD Garden Wednesday night and he got it.

After he ruffled some feathers on the Celtics during his high-intensity effort in Game 2, Green entered Boston as the villain for Game 3. He put together an absolute clunker, saying he played “like s–t” in a 116-100 loss that gave Boston a 2-1 series lead. Green finished with two points in 35 minutes before eventually fouling out.

Throughout the evening, fans showered Draymond with “F–k you, Dray-mond!” or “Dray-mond sucks!” chants. They became even louder and more audible when he committed a foul or took the ball for an inbounds pass.

While Draymond just shook it off saying, “They did what I expected.” his teammate Klay Thompson and coach Steve Kerr didn’t appreciate the foul-mouthed taunt.

“We’ve played in front of rude people before," Thompson said. "Dropping F-bombs with children in the crowd. Real classy. Good job, Boston."

Kerr also took a sarcastic tone, saying, "Classy. Very classy."

At one point in the game, ESPN tried to mute out the mics so they could soften the inevitable fine from the FCC. In a likelihood, Celtics fans will laugh it off and use it for more fuel in Game 4.

All of New England is probably drinking Draymond Hater-ade at this point. Following Game 2, East Coast-based Barstool Sports made a T-shirt that simply said “Draymond is a b—h.”

“Par for the course,” Steph Curry said. “Every arena you kind of get a little something. It's been like that the whole playoffs and every run we've made over the course. He expects it. So no different tonight.”

There’s no reason to think Draymond won’t be hearing it again on Friday night, especially with the goose egg he laid Wednesday.
