With two games on Monday night, it’ll be a different Monday Night Football DFS slate. Of course, having twice the options means you have twice as many players to consider and this isn’t the typical Showdown slate. To help you fill out the perfect lineup, here is a player at each position you should strongly consider adding to your DFS lineups for Monday’s doubleheader with huge prize pools.
QB Joe Burrow ($6,300)
Obviously, Josh Allen is the best quarterback playing on Monday, but if you need a little value, Burrow is the pick. This is largely because the Washington pass defense has been an issue over the first two weeks of the season, giving up six passing touchdowns. Even Daniel Jones threw two touchdowns against the Commanders last week. After settling in last week following a poor Week 1, Burrow should be a safe pick. He looked comfortable with some of his secondary receivers, so he’s not as reliant on Ja’Marr Chase as you might think, giving him excellent fantasy value, especially with Tee Higgins back.
RB Brian Robinson ($5,900)
Cincinnati’s issues defending the run over the first two weeks of the season are why Robinson is the best DFS running back on Monday. Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 120 yards against the Bengals in Week 1 while Isiah Pacheco finished with 90 yards in Week 2. Equally important, Robinson has nearly three times as many carries as Austin Ekeler through two weeks, so he’ll get the bulk of Washington’s carries. He’s also been a factor in the passing game with Jayden Daniels throwing most of his passes to running backs and tight ends, giving Robinson even more value on Monday.
WR Gabe Davis ($4,200)
For a second or third wide receiver in your DFS lineup, Davis is a good value pick in his homecoming game in Buffalo. While Trevor Lawrence’s quarterback play is a concern, Davis does lead the Jaguars in targets through two weeks. He’s also a well-known deep threat if Lawrence is able to push the ball downfield. While he might be looked at as a boom-or-bust pick, with just two games available, Davis fits the bill for a No. 3 wide receiver in DFS.
TE Mike Gesicki ($3,600)
With 10 catches on 13 targets through two games, Gesicki is Cincinnati’s leading receiver at this point. That means he clearly has the trust of Joe Burrow in his first season with the Bengals. Granted, Dalton Kincaid is a better tight end while Zach Ertz is also an intriguing DFS option. However, Gesicki has better value than both of those players at this price point.
Bills D/ST ($2,900)
A home game in Buffalo on a Monday night is likely to create a hostile environment for Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville offense. Lawrence is already having a hard time this season, completing just 51% of his passes while throwing just one touchdown over two games. To this point, Lawrence has avoided turnovers, although that shouldn’t last much longer if he continues to play the way he has. He’s also taken seven sacks over two games, which is another reason to think the Jaguars will continue to struggle offensively, setting up the Buffalo defense for a productive DFS game on Monday night.
