Kyler Murray drew attention earlier in the week when he scrubbed all Arizona Cardinals gear from his Instagram and unfollowed the team’s social media pages.
Well, it seems like the Cardinals have followed suit, adding more confusion to the situation.

The Arizona Cardinals Instagram page was completely erased on Friday with the exception of two Kyler Murray photos — one of him holding his jersey up on draft day and another of him with CeeDee Lamb at the Pro Bowl, the same photo Murray left on his page with Lamb.
The Cardinals also still follow Murray, so it is not exactly clear what message the team is trying to convey by mimicking his moves from earlier in the week.
Some on social media speculated that the Cardinals were doing this as a way to tease their uniform rebrand, although it does not quite make sense why that would necessitate deleting all their photos except two of Murray’s.
Comments from DeAndre Hopkins this week also further fueled that theory.
“The only thing I could think [is] he wants to show off some new outfits for this upcoming season, he didn’t want you guys to look at the old ones,” Hopkins said in a SiriusXM interview.
Could this really all just be a part of a viral campaign to draw attention to the Cardinals’ new uniforms?
If so, well, it is working because they now have our full attention.
