As the NFL season heats up, the NFC West rivalry intensifies on Thursday Night Football with a showdown between the San Francisco 49ers (2-3) and the Seattle Seahawks (3-2). With the 49ers entering as 3.5-point road favorites and an over/under of 47.5 points at BetMGM, both teams are eager to secure a vital victory in their quest for playoff contention. This highly anticipated matchup promises to deliver thrilling action and critical moments, making it an ideal opportunity for bettors to target players who could find the end zone. Here are our top anytime touchdown scorer picks for this crucial clash, along with the best prices in the industry.
49ers RB Jordan Mason (-140, BetMGM)
Through five games, Mason has scored three touchdowns and it’s really difficult not to like his outlook for this matchup against the Seahawks. He’s gotten 29, 21, 21, 26 and 15 touches in his starts while filling in for the injured Christian McCaffrey and has dominated red zone opportunities. His 28 red zone opportunities nearly surpass all of his other skill position teammates combined (33) and the Seahawks have allowed four rushing touchdowns to running backs in their five contests.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (-104, Caesars)
In Walker’s three games played this season, he’s seen all of the red zone work at the running back position, sending Zach Charbonnet to the sidelines. I don’t love the matchup against the 49ers, who have allowed three rushing touchdowns to running backs so far, but I do love Seattle OC Ryan Grubb’s offensive system and think the Seahawks are going to be able to put up points. Assuming that Walker is healthy, I am confident in his upside as a runner and a receiver out of the backfield and I don’t mind getting him right around even odds to find paydirt.
49ers TE George Kittle (+170, FanDuel)
Kittle has scored touchdowns in three consecutive games heading into this one and I mentioned why I am keying in on Kittle specifically in my player prop article (which you can read by clicking the article below). The athletic tight end has played 94% and 91% of snaps in back-to-back weeks since returning from injury and is coming off of a huge 8-catch, 12-target, 64-yard performance with a TD last week. Seattle has allowed opposing tight ends to record 57.2 receiving yards per game, 6th-most in the NFL, so the matchup is a great one.
49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (+750, FanDuel)
It’s very hard not to root for this rookie running back. Despite starting a total of one game throughout his college career at Wisconsin and Louisville (playing behind Braelon Allen and Jawhar Jordan), the 49ers saw enough in him to select him in the 5th round of this year’s Draft. With McCaffrey still out and on a short week, perhaps we will see Guerendo see some extra work backing up Mason. Last week, the rookie only played 14% of the offensive snaps (which tied his career-high), but saw two red zone opportunities, which cut into Mason’s scoring potential. Coming off a career-high 22 rushing yards on five carries (which tied his career-high), I love this sleeper option for Thursday Night Football. As someone who ran a 4.33 40-yard dash, he seemingly should have big-play potential too if he can get into open space outside of the red zone.
