The Kansas City Chiefs will be without one of their key defensive players their next two games.
Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was suspended for two games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The suspension means Clark will miss the Chiefs’ Week 8 and 9 games against the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars, respectively, since the team is on a bye this week.
The discipline comes in wake of Clark pleading no contest last month to two counts of misdemeanor possession of an assault weapon, stemming from separate incidents last year.
In March of 2021, Clark was arrested during a traffic stop in Los Angeles when a police officer noticed a weapon in the vehicle and found two loaded firearms. He was arrested again in June 2021for felony possession of a concealed firearm, also in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old was sentenced to one year of probation and 40 hours of community service.
Clark is a three-time Pro Bowl defensive end and is in his fourth year with the Chiefs after beginning his career with the Seattle Seahawks. He has 15 tackles and three sacks through seven games this season.
