Adrian Peterson will get a chance to show everyone if he still has some moves left as he makes his 2021 debut with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday night.
His dance moves, on the other hand, will have to wait.

The 36-year-old running back turned down a chance to appear on ABC’s next season on “Dancing with the Stars,” earlier this year because he believed he would still get a shot in the NFL this year, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Per Schefter, Peterson was offered $150,000 in September for the rehearsal period and chance to earn up to $335,000 on the show.
At the time, Peterson believed that the Baltimore Ravens would sign him after they sustained season-ending injuries to three of their running backs.

While they showed some interest, they decided to go elsewhere and Peterson continued to wait. When the Titans learned Derrick Henry had a broken foot after last week’s game, they called the future Hall of Famer and signed him to the practice squad.
Peterson was elevated to the active roster for the Sunday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, although it’s unclear if he will have a significant role with the offense just yet.
While Henry could possibly return by the end of the season or playoffs, Peterson is expected to garner the majority of the carries going forward as he looks to show he still has something left in the tank.
