Terrell will likely shadow Evans if he plays, giving Godwin more opportunities to rack up yards against the Falcons' secondary. He got close to this mark with 117 yards and a touchdown against the Lions back in Week 2, so that’s reassuring.
Coming off a season-high 42% snap count in Week 4, Irving has emerged as a key red-zone threat for Tampa Bay. He saw all five of the team's running back opportunities inside the 20 last week, scoring his first career touchdown. Irving rushed for 49 yards on 10 carries and added a reception for six yards, showcasing his potential as an RB1. His increased workload suggests he may soon overtake Rachaad White as the lead back, making him a strong bet to find the end zone again this week. Averaging 5.8 yards per carry on the season, Irving is going to break out sooner rather than later.
Cousins has been steady over his last three games, passing for 241, 230, and 238 yards respectively. We will obviously need him to rack up yards in this one, but the matchup isn’t as terrible as you may think. The Buccaneers have allowed an average of 216.3 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks, but those numbers are skewed by matchups against guys like Bo Nix and Jalen Hurts, who was dealing with a depleted receiving corps as well as Jayden Daniels in his NFL debut. With a full complement of weapons, Cousins should be able to make things happen through the air. If the Buccaneers get out to a lead and the Falcons have to play from behind, which is what I envision happening, that game script would be perfect for this parlay.
