The 2024 World Series kicks off with Game 1 between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, and sportsbooks are rolling out some enticing odds boosts. Whether it’s backing Juan Soto or Mookie Betts to dominate the hit count across the series or going long on a combined total bases prop for Soto and Giancarlo Stanton, we’ve got the breakdown on the most intriguing boosts. While these special offers can be fun, it’s important to find value—and these bets might just offer the right opportunity to cash in.

BetRivers - Juan Soto or Mookie Betts To Record The Most Hits In The 2024 World Series (+310)

There are a ton of odds boosts out there that are starting to pop up for the 2024 World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, but not all of them are going to offer a ton of value. These bets can be very profitable if you pick the right ones, but oftentimes, these can sometimes be traps. That is why I always advise caution unless it is a “no-brainer” type of bet like LeBron James to score 1 point. Still, if you know where to look, you can find some decent value on the board.

I personally will be cheering on the New York Yankees in this series due to the 11/1 ticket that I have on them to win the World Series, and I really like Juan Soto in this series. He’s been on fire in these playoffs and has been a big reason why the Yankees are competing for a championship. He’s batting over .300 in the playoffs with three homers and has been as clutch as they come. I guess my biggest worry about him is that teams are sometimes just intentionally walking him because he is so good and they don’t want to risk him making a game changing play. Aaron Judge has been ice cold in the playoffs, as usual, and I think Soto will be their most important player.

Betts, as usual, has been a machine at the plate. This postseason, he is batting .295 with four doubles and four homers, and has been incredible at the top of the Dodgers lineup. Outside of Shohei Ohtani, who the sportsbooks would really like to have a bad series here, he is their most reliable bat.

Caesars - Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton to Each Record Over 1.5 Total Bases In Game 1 (+400)

This one is a bit more of a long shot, and I actually think the Dodgers could win Game 1 of this series. I am a fan of Jack Flaherty, but only when he is pitching on regular rest. He will be for this game, so I think he has a good chance to have a quality start. Still, the Yankees offense was the best in all of baseball against right-handers this season, with a massive 120 wRC+ as a lineup, and these two had a lot to do with that.

I already talked a ton about why I love Juan Soto in this series, but Stanton is another guy who has been on fire as of late. He won ALCS MVP because he has been a slugging machine at the plate, slamming homers and extra-base hits at a high rate. It remains to be seen if he can keep that up, but if he does actually get a hit in this game, it will likely go for multiple bases. That is just the kind of player that he is.

Obviously at 4/1, this is a bit of a longer shot play, but I could certainly see them both getting over 1.5 bases.
