Former MLB slugger Delmon Young was reportedly arrested this week after an alleged violent altercation with an ex-girlfriend.

Young, 35, was arrested in Davie, Florida, late on Monday night after police responded to a domestic disturbance call at his ex's house, TMZ reported.

The 10-year veteran, who last played in 2015, was arrested on four charges after he allegedly showed up at the woman's house, demanded she come outside, then punched her in the chest and shoved her to the ground during an argument, according to a police report, TMZ said.

Young -- once a blue-chip prospect who bounced around between the Rays, Twins, Tigers, Phillies and O's -- was apprehended after fleeing the scene of the altercation in his vehicle. He allegedly blew through a stop sign and was speeding at 90 mph in a 45-mph zone, according to TMZ.

The police report apparently indicated that the altercation was captured by surveillance cameras, the outlet reported.

The younger brother of two-time All-Star Dmitri Young, Delmon has been arrested for alleged violent incidents at least two other times.

In 2012, he pled guilty to aggravated harassment in New York City after allegedly shouting anti-Semitic slurs at a panhandler, and tackling a man who confronted him over the bigoted remarks. In 2016, he was arrested for allegedly choking a hotel valet in Miami, but the case was later dropped.

Young retired with a line of .283/.316/.421 and 109 homers in 4,371 plate appearances.
