We've found what appears to be the best minor league baseball promotional night of the season.

The Lansing Lugnuts -- the High-A affiliates of the Oakland Athletics -- plan to pay homage to "Tool Time," the fictional do-it-yourself show on the 1990s sitcom "Home Improvement":

While Tim Allen isn't slated to appear at the event, his right-hand man, Richard Karn, will be in attendance at the game on Aug. 28. Karn -- who also had a stint as the host of the gameshow Family Feud -- will be in attendance. The Lugnuts will wear a jersey top designed to look like a flannel, which Karn's character, Al Borland, typically wore on the show.

The Lugnuts play their home games at Jackson Field in Lansing, Michigan -- so it's fitting that they are doing a promotion for one of the most notable shows that supposedly took place in Detroit. A fun fact, though, is that the show was actually filmed in Burbank, California.
