Even as video evidence -- and what amounts to testimony from witnesses -- suggests otherwise, Ronald Acuña Jr. has denied making comments saying that he won't miss his former Atlanta Braves teammate Freddie Freeman:

The only problem for Acuña is that there were people watching him on Instagram live that say he did indeed make comments about the differences between him and Freeman, and there is even video evidence that's been translated:

Regardless of what relationship that the two had, they are no longer teammates. While Acuña continues to play on one of the most team-friendly contracts in the history of the sport, the Braves pivoted to a trade for Matt Olson this offseason to replace Freeman, who held out for a contract at his market value. Freeman -- the 2020 National League MVP -- signed a six-year/$162 million deal to join the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Acuña seems unlikely to be ready to play when the Braves travel to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers April 18-20. However, the Dodgers come to Atlanta June 24-26, at which point Acuña may very well be back from his torn ACL, just in time for Freeman's first trip to Truist Park as a visiting player.
