As NFL Week 4 wraps up with a Monday Night Football doubleheader featuring the Dolphins vs. Titans and Lions vs. Seahawks, it’s the perfect time to target anytime touchdown bets. De’Von Achane has been emerging as a key piece of the Dolphins’ offense, while David Montgomery continues to be a reliable goal-line option for the Lions. Whether you’re looking for value or safe picks, we’ve got you covered with the best anytime touchdown scorers for Monday night’s action.
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane To Score A Touchown vs. Titans (+140, BetMGM)
Luckily Skylar Thompson is not starting this game and Tyler Huntley is; Achane should see some semblance of professional quarterbacking. After scoring a touchdown in back-to-back weeks to start the year, he got 14 touches last week but Miami’s offense was stifled in a 24-3 loss to the Seahawks. Now up against the winless Titans, Achane should be able to show off his playmaking skills once again. Tennessee has been solid at stopping the run, but has struggled to defend running backs as pass-catchers out of the backfield; RB’s have racked up the 9th-most receiving yards per game against them, including three receiving touchdowns to the position. Note that Raheem Mostert was limited in practice all week and is questionable to play in this game. If he suits up, he could vulture a TD from Achane, but regardless, I love the plus-money value at BetMGM. Achane has earned the right to be the RB1 in Miami and even if Mostert returns, he should see 17-to-20 touches regardless of game script.
Lions RB David Montgomery To Score A Touchdown vs. Seahawks (-120, BetMGM)
Boye Mafe (OLB), Uchenna Nwosu (OLB), Leonard Williams (DE) and Byron Murphy II (DT) are all ruled out for the Seahawks which should be trouble for them against an elite offensive line that’ll be blocking for Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. While the two will split carries and therefore create a bit of an annoying and unpredictable situation as far as player props are concerned, Montgomery played 51% of the snaps last week (compared to Gibbs’ 46%) and has seen 10 red zone opportunities over the first three weeks (compared to Gibbs’ 14). Both guys are in play this week, but I think that Montgomery is going to have a lot of success running between the tackles based on Seattle’s injuries and I love the price at BetMGM.
