The Giants are staring down the barrel of another lost season and Logan Ryan knows New York fans deserve better than another last-place finish. “Their reaction is okay, the product isn’t okay right now,” said Ryan, taking accountability for the Giants’ recent struggles. “I take that to heart as a leader on this team. I haven’t felt like the preparation and the work has always [translated] on the field, and I understand that, and I take my share of ownership on that.”

G-Men supporters have made their frustrations known, criticizing the team’s direction amid a fifth straight losing season. That hostility can wear thin, though at least New York’s fans are passionate enough to share how they really feel. Ryan didn’t experience much of that in Tennessee, where the team had to practically bribe fans to attend games at Nissan Stadium.

“I played [for] a franchise in Tennessee where the fan base was nonexistent,” said Ryan, lamenting the apathy displayed by fans throughout his three-year stint in the Music City. “You couldn’t even get fans to the games, you had to [make] tickets half off to get fans to the games.”

Ryan woke up and chose VIOLENCE. Forget throwing shade—the veteran just annihilated an entire region, body-bagging the Titans and their collective fan base about as casually as someone rolling out of bed in the morning. Whether Ryan is guilty of sour grapes or simply keeping things way too real, the 30-year-old can expect a frigid reception the next time he visits Nashville, which could be as soon as next season. And if Ryan’s crack about half-price tickets is true, the ploy appears to be working as the Titans have averaged 68,501 fans per home game this season (13th out of 32 NFL teams).
