Logan Ryan wants to put his Tua Tagovailoa comments behind him.
The Giants safety opened his media session with reporters on Thursday by apologizing for his perceived slight toward the Dolphins quarterback he made following Sunday’s loss at the hands of Tagaovailoa.

“I want him to know there’s no disrespect there,” Ryan said. “I was trying to be funny and it wasn’t funny.”
Following a 20-9 loss to the Dolphins, Ryan spoke to reporters about being the team’s emergency quarterback after backup Mike Glennon was diagnosed with a concussion after the game.
“I don’t know if you guys saw my high school quarterback tape, but I’m going to put it out there, emergency,” he said. “A lot like Tua, a lefty. I can throw 2-yard passes to the left.”

Ryan’s comments were viewed by many fans as a dig at Tagovailoa and the timing was peculiar considering the Dolphins quarterback just beat Ryan and the Giants.
Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker even responded on a Bleacher Report Instagram post for Ryan to “hold that L.”
Ryan's “joke” clearly missed the mark and was just another bad moment in a season full of them for the 4-8 last-place New York Giants.
