The Dallas Cowboys may have traded away Amari Cooper, but they have a lot of faith in Michael Gallup.
The 26-year-old wide receiver is re-signing with the Cowboys on a five-year, $62.5 million contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The contract includes $27 million in guaranteed money.

Gallup has moved up as WR2 on the Cowboys’ depth chart, opposite CeeDee Lamb in the wake of trading Cooper — a move that was made to free up cap space.
He has proven himself to be a reliable receiver in his first four years in Dallas, though.
Injuries limited him to playing in just nine games last season, where he had 35 catchers for 445 yards and two touchdowns. His best season came in 2019, hauling in 66 catches for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns.
With Lamb and Gallup as the top two receivers on the team, the Cowboys could look to add more depth at the position through the NFL Draft next month.
