Having spent five seasons in Minnesota and now two in Buffalo, Bills receiver Stefon Diggs should be used to cold weather by now. Even growing up in Maryland, Diggs had to have endured the occasional blizzard. Which makes the 28-year-old’s decision to brave the snow in a Ferrari F8 all the more inexplicable.

Here’s a photo taken of Diggs Thursday, stranded at the intersection of Clinton Street and Bailey Avenue in East Buffalo.
A known car collector, the two-time Pro Bowler also owns a Mercedes G Wagon, which would have been a much better choice for January in Western New York. Either Diggs didn’t bother to check his weather app before leaving the house (Thursday’s forecast called for 4-8 inches of lake-effect snow) or he simply didn’t care, willing to risk it all for a piping-hot cup of Tim Hortons.
Driving a $300,000 sports car through heavy snow is the epitome of reckless, but if anyone can afford to blow that kind of dough it’s Diggs, who has accrued nearly $60 million ($58,608,264, to be precise) in career earnings. A win Sunday against the Jets, who Diggs massacred for 162 yards in Week 10, would clinch Buffalo’s second AFC East title in as many years. The Bills haven’t won consecutive division crowns since 1990-91.
