If you didn't think the video that Odell Beckham Sr. shared — highlighting a number of Baker Mayfield's missed opportunities to pass to an open OBJ — was direct enough, perhaps an All-Pro wide receiver's criticism of the Browns' QB will suffice.

Carolina Panthers all-time great Steve Smith, now an analyst, didn't hold back when he discussing the OBJ drama on Thursday, which has since escalated to the point of the Browns' decision to release him. He even made sure that the camera shifted to focus in on his face, at a head-on angle, so he could completely rip into Mayfield on live TV.

Ouch — that one must cut deep! Score another tally for Team OBJ, which has been supported by the likes of LeBron James and Ja Morant, among others.

It's going to be a big back-and-forth battle between the two sides as this whole saga winds down, with several arguing that OBJ is to blame and others primarily putting Mayfield at fault, both for the breakup and for the lack of production. Someone who seems to be on Team Baker? Kurt Warner, who praised a specific segment of Aditi Kinkhabwala's awesome (and completely badass) reporting in which she mentions that just because OBJ looks open doesn't mean he was where Mayfield expected/needed him to be.

And it's very much a spectrum, with enough blame to go around that pretty much every factor needs to be taken into consideration. It's not wholly OBJ, it's not wholly Mayfield and we'll probably learn a lot more about the deterioration of the wideout's relationship with his former team — so take note of the biting sarcasm Geoff Schwartz uses in a great tweet that summarizes what the Twittersphere looks like this morning.

Wherever he lands, it'll be very, very interesting to see how the scenario plays out as more and more details are revealed — and that revenge game is certainly going to be something.
