It’s official: Steph Curry is the greatest 3-point shooter in NBA history.

While Curry is still a few weeks away from breaking Ray Allen’s regular-season 3-point record, he became No. 1 on the all-time list Friday when you include playoff statistics. According to the Warriors, Curry accomplished the feat when he splashed one in with 10:44 left in the second quarter against the Chicago Bulls. Curry surpassed Allen's career total of 3,358.

Curry uncorked in the third quarter for 15 of his 40 points while the Warriors defense turned in a dominant effort in a 119-93 win. Steph went 9-of-17 from 3-point land to match his season-high for 3-pointers made. His final bucket came uncontested in transition and brought the Chase Center crowd to its feet.

In his 13th season, Curry shows no signs of slowing down. He is currently averaging 5.33 3-pointers per game, just off the 5.35 per game career-best mark he posted last season.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Curry is the only player in the NBA to hit at least nine 3-pointers in a game this season. And he's done it twice.

At this rate, Curry will pass Allen’s regular-season mark (2,973) in 15 games, which would come on Dec. 13 against the Indiana Pacers.
