BIG MAN TD ALERT!

Lane Johnson got his first career catch on Sunday, and made it his first career touchdown grab on this five-yarder from Jalen Hurts where he was WIDE open:
Wide open is actually an understatement, as Johnson had reported in as eligible and then was just left completely unchecked for an easy chuck and run…and then a little Linc Leap, as Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma called it on FOX.
Either way, the five-yard pass completed a fourth straight drive with points in the second half for the Eagles, who were tied 3-3 with the Giants at halftime but scored three touchdowns and a field goal in their first four drives of the second quarter (and then returned an INT for a TD on the Giants’ ensuing possession to make it 34 unanswered points).

Of course, it didn’t come without a little of the usual Philly attitude, as several social media users pointed out that Johnson now has more touchdowns this season than Miles Sanders – who left Sunday’s game with a hand injury and retained his “title” as having the most yards from scrimmage this season without a TD – or how Johnson had as many catches at the time as the Giants’ top two receivers, Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton, on the day (one each) and also more touchdowns (neither have scored).
Also a little bit of bad déjà vu for Big Blue, who scored their only touchdown in a loss to Tampa Bay earlier this season on a similar tackle-eligible play to left tackle Andrew Thomas.
