It’s officially the Sports Equinox! Regardless of which sport you enjoy, there’s something for you today. We have a Monday Night Football game between the Giants and Steelers, Game 3 of the World Series between the Yankees and Dodgers in the Bronx, 11 NBA games, eight NHL games and two MLS matches. In honor of the big day, I crafted a BetMGM parlay featuring a leg from each sport above. Below, see that and an explanation for each leg!
Steelers ML & Dodgers-Yankees YRFI & Bulls-Grizzlies Over 233.5 & Avalanche ML & FC Cincinnati ML (+1200, BetMGM)
Steelers ML (-275) vs. Giants: As I mentioned in my Player Prop Picks article, Daniel Jones has an 0-7 SU record on Monday Night Football and the Giants (2-5) are clear road underdogs against the Steelers (5-2).
Dodgers-Yankees YRFI (-115): Both of these teams have star-studded tops of their lineups and this pitching matchup between Walker Buehler and Clarke Schmidt leads me to believe some crooked numbers will be put up, especially with the short porches at Yankee Stadium.
Bulls-Grizzlies Over 233.5 (-110): As I mentioned in my NBA Expert Picks article, these teams rank 1st and 2nd in Pace, respectively, and the over has gone 3-0 and 2-1 in their contests. This should be a back-and-forth, high-scoring affair.
Avalanche ML (-250) vs. Blackhawks: Colorado (5-4-0) has a significant advantage over Chicago (2-6-1) in this one and BetQL is projecting the Avs to win by the score of 4.1 to 1.85. That seems safe enough for me to be confident in them getting a win on their home ice.
FC Cincinnati ML (-110) vs. New York City: Entering the postseason today, Cincinnati (18-5-11, 59 points) is in 3rd place in the MLS Eastern Conference while New York (14-8-12, 50 points) comes in ranked 6th. New York City went just 4-8-5 on the road, Cincinnati won two of the three meetings between these teams in the regular season and will have the support of the home crowd.
