As the Country music community continues to mourn the loss of Toby Keith, several are showing their admiration for the Country singer-songwriter by donating to The Toby Keith Foundation.

The foundation is just one part of the legacy Toby left behind, and his  family is encouraging anyone interested in honoring Keith to donate specifically to the OK Kids Korral.

“The Covel Family is hosting a private funeral service for family, band and crew only in mid-February,” a post to Keith’s social media page read. “A memorial service to honor Toby will be announced only on Toby’s socials shortly. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to @tkfoundation1 to support the OK Kids Korral.”

The OK Kids Korral opened as part of The Toby Keith Foundation in 2014, and according to the website, acts as a “cost-free, convenient and comfortable home for pediatric cancer patients receiving treatment at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center, Stephenson Cancer Center and other nearby facilities.”

Individuals interested in donating can do so here.

Keith died February 5 at age 62 following a battle against stomach cancer which his family says he fought with "grace and courage."

"Toby Keith passed peacefully last night on Feb. 5, surrounded by his family,” his loved ones shared in a statement across his site and socials. “He fought his fight with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy of his family at this time.”

Following the news, fans, fellow artists, family and friends have shown an outpouring of support for Toby’s family with messages of encouragement, musical tributes and lasting memories.
