The Redskins are still heavily linked to a trade for Cardinals QB Josh Rosen, but don't rule out Washington taking a QB in the first round of the NFL Draft just yet.
Duke quarterback Daniel Jones and Northwestern quarterback Clayton Thorson are both reportedly visiting the Redskins Wednesday. The Redskins have also hosted Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins, Missouri's Drew Lock, Auburn's Jarrett Stidham and West Virginia's Will Grier

Northwestern QB Clayton Thorson is visiting the #Redskins today, per source. They've already hosted Drew Lock and Jarrett Stidham, among others. Doing extra work on pretty much all the top QBs. https://t.co/2iAL7MUzL4

Been told Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins visited Redskins Park today, per source. Big pocket passer that seems like could be available at 15

These names make up the majority of the top QBs in the 2019 draft class. The only major omission is Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, who is expected to be selected by the Cardinals with the first overall pick and the main reason why there's so much Rosen to the Redskins chatter.

Rosen is a perfect fit for the Redskins: a young, cheap quarterback with plenty of upside. But if the Cardinals hold onto Rosen or ship him elsewhere, Washington still has that need at QB with Alex Smith sideline for the foreseeable future and neither Colt McCoy or Case Keenum long-term solutions at the position.

Thus, the solution to that problem may have to come in the draft.
